Elastics How Long?

Hey Everybody, 8 months into my treatment and I've gotten elastics, and I have a few general questions on people's experience, that I hope some of you can share. I've only had mine on for 2 days, and the first time at the orthodontics when they asked me to try put it on myself, I felt really un-co, ...

Yes enjoy your timeout, and do watch out for those nasty double demerits.
So the final countdown begins next year, should be fun.

Merry Christmas Fellow MetalMouthers

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. I am almost 6 months into the braces now, and plan on having a feast on Christmas Eve, no braces will stop me from the yummy christmas food. On a brief, it's been a long six months for me, my teeth have never looked uglier and more crooked. But speaking t...

Yep Fresh Ketch, very nice food, and vey nice view. However I've heard it may be closed now. But the new seafood restruant at the fish market definately sounds great.

But no I am not from lower north shore, more upper north shore.

Good luck with the debanding.

Hi Ibracers2007, I am in the same boat as you, 4 months in and I still speak with a lisp, and people sometimes find it difficult to understand me, especially when I speak too fast, and like you I never had this problem before. Also like you I am concerned, I am currently doing a post grad to allow m...

I've lost about 5 kgs, since getting my braces, most of that was in the first 2 weeks. I was estatic, as it was something I was unable to do even when hitting the gym 4 days a week. Bye Bye love handles. For me putting on braces has meant a diet change, that's the reason I've managed to keep the wei...

4 Months in and I still can't grab a burger by two hands and munch down. I can however eat burgers and quite enjoy them, but I break it up into small peices. For me the reason is I have two big teeth in front which seem to be very sensitive, and that stops me from munching away. But bring on the Mic...

I wouldn't fret too much about it ibraceface, mine are even worse, I seem to have huge gaps everywhere now, as my canines are given room to move out. I asked my ortho about it, and she didn't seem too concerned, so I guess we got to trust in our ortho. Besides, ain't hollywood making the vampire loo...

Hello newlingual, I don't have the expertise to explain the pointy things, but I can only share my experience. I've had my upper and lowers in for 5 weeks now, and had the same issues as you. I especially felt the pain on the lower corners of my tongue from these pointy things. I found my tongue cou...

Thanks, would help if I could spell torture :) I'm off the wax again, this time I hope I don't need to get back on it (sounds like a drug). I'm also living in Sydney, and believe your definitely right about getting a good deal at 9K. I originally went to a place in the North Shore, and had to pay a ...
