Almost Debanded! (Pics)

:-)o So today i went in for my debanding appointment. I got most of them off... The lower front six are still in place until next week as my ortho is hoping that this single stubborn tooth will finally raise into position and stay there. I will also be picking up my retainer then as well. Overall th...

Im not really sure about the answer to your question, but... If it makes you feel any better. I had a tiny little gap created through wearing braces, so far i have spent the last... oh, 8 months or so, closing this gap. Basically all they did was shift the gap from one tooth to the next every appt u...

:ouch: Wow, so this chain is kinda old... I havent been on as much as i used to be. Its kind of sad too because i used to keep a very accurate account and pictorial of my brace adventure, but then... i got a new phone and it takes sucky pics so i slacked off... Anyways, in relation to this post... I...

I noticed a little while back that one of my "fangs" has a slight staircase indent in it from where it meets the bracket on the bottom. Its like its just worn away from the top tooth hitting the bracket. Its not big enough for me to care really about and its already done now, but... I wish...

You know what really kills me? Ive had my braces on for about 16 months and have yet to loose or break any brackets. However, at my orthos office two orthos share one office, so on certain days one doctor works and on other days the other works. Well i went in to get a simple tie change (pearl ligs-...

I am getting married in April so I will have braces AND my fiance is getting his braces put on in Feb/Mar, so he will ALSO be in braces.... No big deal to either of us, and i think the fact that both of us will be in brace...

One thing to keep in mind is getting TriCare Dental (for all of you service people out there). Its about $10 a month for just yourself and they will pay for $1500 of your braces (in addition to a certain amount of funds for all dental procedures). Ask your UA about how to sign up or send me a PM. I ...

This is my 2nd Christmas with braces. Last year i was banded two days before Christmas. Even though i was sore as all ... I still ate just about everything everyone else did, i just cut it into teeny tiny peices so that it wouldnt be so hard to chew. It took me ages to eat, but i still got to enjoy ...
