Does IPR hurt?

I'm done with mit upper aligners, and they are not really straight, so I got my refinement movie and I need 3 IPRs. My dentist told me that it does not hurt, but he always tells me that (f.e. cavity) and it hurts. So, can anyone tell me something about IPS? How long does it take? Does it hurt? Hones...

yes sounds like the same problem. my dentist said its not true they are straight, but i feel they are not, one is more in the front.

i can go ahead with the refinement, but still have trays for the bottom, what would you do, wait with the refinement or go ahead with it?

They said i'll get a refinement, but they dont know if it'll work. also, they said, maybe it is the fault o...

Hi,

I can feel with you.

I have U9 and L14. I'm now at Aligner 8 and my Upper Teeth are not really straight. My ortho said, we can do a refinement. And I hope it will work. I dont mind having a few more trays (just wanna have straight teeth), I hope I do not need to pay more for that???

Good luck to you. I was waiting for years too, and now i'm so happy that i made this decision. i'm on aligners 5 right now. I was so afraid because I read a lot of horrible things, like the aligners smell so bad or it is so hard to get them out, and I was so surprised, because it was so positive, no...

Sugar with trays...

Hi there, I have a question, my dentist said, anything with sugar is not allowed (f.e. coffee, tea, coke,...). But last time she said, I can eat f.e. grapes, if it works for me with my aligners. I can eat a lot of things, if they are not too hard, but in grapes there is sugar too and i drank sometim...

I had a metal brace a lot of years ago (as a child) and if i compare these to invisalign, I would prefer Invisalign. It is not irritating my tongue as much as the metal things and its very to get them out (can not believe why so many people here write it is hard to get them out)? As I started with I...

I feel - NOTHING!

Hi, I'm on my 3rd tray of Invisalign, and since I started, I feel absolutely nothing. My dentist said, that could be normal, but I cannot believe that it should work, there's no pressure, nothing. On one hand I'm happy not having pain, but one the other hand, i'm not sure if it'll work like t...
