Do you have ceramic brackets on the bottom? If so, this is probably the culprit and very common as the ceramic is harder than enamel. I'm sorry to hear this happened!

Hi, everyone! I'm Julia and I'm 26 years old and have had braces for almost a month. I'm loving it so far! I have a gap between my two front teeth and some crookedness and little gaps in the bottom front teeth (although the crookedness is nearly gone already!). I'll be in braces for about 18 months....
