Now THAT is something I wish they told me when I decided to get them. I also really wish they would have asked me if I were a coffee drinker because I think that's staining the brackets a bit.

Thanks for the info, you, unlike to office, have been helpful. ;)

wire chipping

my last question of the day :)

i opted for clear braces with the "pearl" colored wire. everything is groovy except my wire is chipping. is this normal? under the pearl color is metal, which is highly unattractive next to the clear braces.

thanks for any input.

Oh my gosh, yeah I'm so not hoping for something serious.

I just wish I could get in sooner. I'm going to be a nervous wreck by Thursday.

I called the doc & they asked if it stng like a cavity when I brused & I told them it does. They think the brace might have cracked the tooth.. we shall see.

Thanks Kiwi! :)

I love my braces! The second and third day had me doubting but now I just can't stop staring at them. Don't get me wrong, I will love getting them off but I know they are doing what they should be and I'm as thrilled as I could be.

I've had the same experience regarding pain. The second day & third day were hard to eat because of pain from pressure but my teeth haven't really hurt at all other than that.

My progress pictures help me see if/when things move since I don't feel much. :D

Tiny, tiny little pop. I like to...

One of my canines has grown INTO my other tooth. It sounds like that's sorta like your extraction as far as difficulty. I'm dreading that! :)

I can't believe you worked the next day. Were you in terrible pain?
