With SuperFloss and an electric tooth brush like a Braun, the time spent brushing and cleaning is minimal.

I'm so glad I bought a Waterpik. This is essential, In my opinion, to have while under treatment. It washes away all of the food debris in not time. I uses it daily. And I only payed $29 bucks for it. I have the rechargeable one.

You guys/gals really need to follow your treatment plan according to your ortho's requests. This is an expensive process that should not be taken lightly. If there is a requirement that you wear elastics 24/7, then you should do so.

My first adjustment is about a month from my B-day which was Jan 15th. I really wonder how orthos factor in adjustments?

Something must be wrong with me because I've been braced for two days now and feel no pain whatsoever.

I got braced today and I feel no pain or discomfort. Maybe I'm speaking too soon. I guess I'll really know in the morning.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Regarding my surgery, I secured a surgeon and he's currently coordinating with my orthodontist. That portion was pretty much the missing link. I'm ready to go.
