I had a overjet and overbite. Im class 2 division 2. I also had a 100% overbite. to fix it the ortho removed 2 teeth from the top and gave me a bite plate. all is pretty good ... its been a yr already since i got my braces and the over bite is gone.

Im almost a year into my treatment and I STILL have it on. I should be getting it off soon though b/c my overbite is almost completely gone and its so worth it, and also i need to start closing the extraction gaps. how bad is ur overbite, did u also have extractions? And i understand how u feel abou...

I have an upper bite plate currently. Its not a removable one. be prepared to talk funny for a long time :( and also be prepared to lose weight, since mine was the bonded one b/c of a 100% overbite, the sec the ortho put it on none of my back teeth touched for about 6 months and it was difficult to ...

i have upper and lowe teeth braced, i have a bite plate and some metal thing behind my lower teeth, not sure what its called. so i have all 4 surfaces of my teeth covered

im new to braces kinda and i noticed lately when i brush i still see food stuck some places that i cant remove and its driving me crazy. and now that i see this post that looks like exactly what i need. Thanks and thanks also for the code ... cheaper is always better lol

OMG i cant bite! its not bothering me much besides the wire, but i cant bite my food .... will i be able to? My ortho said that the bite plate is goin to be my new bestfriend for a long time. Stupid 100% overbite and grinding Any words would be greatly appreciated.

i get my spacers removed the 28th ... ur lucky u have 5 days left ... i have to be in them a month i didnt use pain killers either ...

Thanks Meryaten ... i noticed u said appliance ... when he took a second set of impressions he did mention that in 3 weeks my appliance would be ready ... do u know what he would mean by this? does he mean molar bands or something else? (BTW i have a 100% overbite and class 2 div. 2, just incase tha...

why molar bands and not just brackets on back teeth? from wat i seen my ortho just does bands ... it even said on this booklet 2nd appt are for bands.

ive been eating pasta and regular food but i had a appointment with the ortho where he took off the spacers took molds and put the spacers back on for 3 more weeks!!!! so my teeth r sore all over again

i felt the same thing ... it goes away ... trust me! they took off my spacers as soon as i got use to them then he put it back. the pass will become less and less

i agree crazybeautiful icecream is the best. and i am getting tired of all the soup and mashed potatoes ... i need real food!

i dont have any wisdom teeth yet the holes feel so huge and im scared to eat lol
