Hi Sam - I am a life long Pepsi drinker and was told it was a no-no with the iBraces.. my ortho relented and said I could have 1 every once and awhile.. I try to limit myself to 2 a day.. I've heard the sugar can affect the "glue" used but who knows.. When my brackets have come off, I know...

Hi - I had brackets coming off too but have to admit, it was my food choices.. agree with the other posts, see if your ortho can use a different glue.. It takes about an hour every time I had to have a bracket put back on so I have learned my lesson.. The last time a bracket came off (popcorn), I as...

Hi, I noticed changes after only 1 month. I hadn't even had my first adjustment yet. I am very happy with my choice to go with the Ibraces.. the first month or two was a big adjustment. I know they are still there but it is not as noticible. Good luck with your journey! Mary

Good luck! The top is easier to put on than the lower. I have had both top and bottom since 12/3 and I have already noticed a difference and I haven't had my first adjustment yet! Have fun in Vegas! Mary

Adjustments & elastics- what can I expect?

Hi, I have had my Ibraces on for over one month now and do not have my first adjustment scheduled until the end of January. At that time, they are also going to put an elastic in to start pulling forward a tooth. What can I expect timewise and pain-wise? I am finally used to the braces. I have notic...

LOL!

Hello Sunflowera! That made my day! My husband was most concerned about my performing a certain "act" on him as well.. we attempted it this past weekend, slowly.. I was still sore from having my mouth prodded and open for 2 hours... not the same! Hopefully these next 15-18 months will go q...

Hi. Adjusting ok. I wasn't expecting this transition period. I am a true believer in no pain, no gain but as a person who loves to eat, this has been tough for me! I am hoping by the end of next week, the soreness on my top teeth will be gone. I am trying to take everyone's advice about talking and ...

Newbie - just wanted to say Hi

Hi all! I just got iBraces on top and bottom and so far, so good. My teeth were definitely sore for a week or so. My ortho did them separately so I just got the top ones put on Monday. I have had the bottom ones on for 2 weeks now. It is nice to have a forum to be able to speak to people who know EX...
