I have had my brace adjustment for a week now and I think I can see the teeth are moving into a much better bite (or maybe its in my head as thats what I want to happen). I have decided to get a second opinion anyway and regardless, I am definately not going to ha...

Can anyone help me please - I am totally confused

Hi everyone, need some help please. I am 28 in live the UK - I had a brace on for 3 years. It came off last August and my teeth were fine untill they moved even with retainer on constantly. The brace went back on in October - just on top set. I went to the ortho yesterday and he has said that my jaw...

aw no, I think I have started something here - sorry if I have hurt anyones feelings about NHS. In my experience my NHS ortho is a bit of a nightmare but in general NHS orthodontics is more than likely ok... I cant grumble with the state of my teeth after the brace came off first time - they were sp...

Yes I agree completely.... I had to wait 2 years to have braces on and although I have got a good deal on price I am not impressed with the service at all. I have to wait about an hour at each appointment and they are always cancelling on me. I can just tell my ortho really doesnt care..... and he s...

I have been quite lucky, I am 28 and I got my braces on when I was 24 when you could have NHS over 18. Paid £400. Braces had to go back on because teeth moved 6 weeks after coming off and the ortho said he would do top teeth for £300 although not got anything in writing yet (fingers crossed). Very...

hi The retainer didnt move it back but they could have shaved a bit off the retainer to move it back if I wanted them to. Doesnt really matter for me know because my teeth shifted with my hawley retainer on and so now I have the fixed brace back on. Dont worry, this isnt the case for everyone, I thi...

hi there

I am gonna be completly honest with you.... I had mine off and the day after I had my retainers put in and I had notice that one tooth had moved outwards.
It probably depends from case to case, you may be fine... can you have a word with your ortho ?
