Useful bit of information, I should've done that myself really shouldn't I!
I think I am a bit of a grinder, so I guess that's one of the reasons I've been advised to wear the intolerable thing. I'm not a very good 'patient' really am I.
Thanks again

T4B Mouthguard
Hi there
I'm supposed to wear one at night. Can anyone tell me why it's an important part of treatment? I did ask my ortho, and he said it was crucial, but I'm not really sure why.
Thanks

I went to see my dentist this morning and he has filed down the bite turbos, so they are much smaller. Thanks Everyone!
Great to get your encouraging replies. I'm seeing the hygienist tomorrow, so I'm going to corner the ortho if I can, and have chat with him about these turbos. Now I'm over the initial shock of it all, I'm feeling a bit annoyed that he didn't tell me beforehand about these things, all I was expectin...

Thanks
I'm not sure I can tolerate having these 'bite turbo' thingies! Do you know if they are easy to remove once they're stuck on? I guess they're there for a reason, but if it's just to speed things up a bit, I'd rather go slow and at least be able to eat!
Thanks so much for the info.

Hello, newbie here. Help needed please!
Hi, I've just had braces fitted, and it's far worse than I expected! The problem is that I've got metal pin type things stuck to the back of my two front teeth, I wasn't expecting this and it's horrible. My lower teeth are supposed to sit infront of these pin things to bring my jaw forward I think. ...
