lost a tooth

At the age of 50 I got my braces off. 4 years later I lost my lower left front tooth due to an accident 37 years ago and subsequent root canal 20 some years ago. Then 2 years ago It was loosened and it never firmed up. This past Sunday it finally came out. Now I have that unsightly gap. I was wonder...

Re: 29, getting braces in a week - cant decide metal or cera

:frogbraces: Personally at the age of 47 I had the metal ones and for one minute of the 3 years I had them on I did not regret it. To me the ceramic ones always made peoples teeth look like they were yellow. Don't try to hide your braces, be proud of them and your decision to get your teeth fixed. :...

miss my braces

:) I am back after 2 years with my braces off. No problems except that I miss them. Right now I am 52 and just wish I could do it all over again. Does anyone else feel this way? When I had them on there were no problems at all for the three years. Just curious as to how others feel. :frogbraces:

No problem with kissing. Although it had been a while since I kissed someone other than a peck on the cheek. But , last night I found out that it is no problem and is still as enjoyable as the faint memory I have of kissing someone a couple of years ago. Even if was difficult or painfull , I suppose...

I know that this probably does not make much sense to most of you , but yes, I wish my braces showed more. Most people that I work with and meet do not seem to notice. I don't want them to stick out like a wart on the tip of my nose but I would love to have more people comment on them or ask why at ...

There is no heartache with braces. A little discomfort, but very little. The only regret I have is I should have done it a long time ago. Better late than never. The only problem is food getting stuck in them. I just wish more people would notice them. Go ahead and get your mouth metalized, you will...

As of this moment at the age of 47. I have teal on top and blue on the bottom. Next Wednesday when I go to the orthodontist I am planning on either red and blue alternating colors or red and teal. Why try to hide the fact that you have braces on your teeth. Hopefully I do not offend anyone here beca...

Maybe things will change this coming Wednesday when I get my lowers put on. The only regret that I h...
