Well I'm four hours into the retainer wear and theres a little pressure. Nothing compared to what it feels like after an adjustment though.

Well I had my debanding this morning. Is went relatively well, a bit rough with the pulling but nothing to what I imagined it would be like! Everyone always said their teeth look huge when their braces come off....I was surprised to find my look extremely tiny! I had forgotten how small my teeth act...

So my deband date has come and it will be tomorrow morning.

When I was first braced, my jaw clicked constantly and occasionaly got "stuck" sometimes too. It was at the very least to say annoying. My orthodontist didn't seem worried by it and never really told me what he was going to do to fix it. Now that I'm at the end of my treatment, my jaw does...

I think the time between appointments is up to your certain orthodontist office. Mine in particular are 6 weeks apart.

Yes, dental phobia is pretty high on my list of fears. Still have almost two years of treatement, i get violently sick and shake the entire day before and during my adjustments.
You'd imagine it would improve by now but I guess not.
