I am in the Army and have had braces for bout 20 months.

I have had my RPE in since the middle of January and I still have it in. I had SARPE in April..... The Ortho said it should come out in the middle of December. I cant wait either.

I had SARPE on 9 April...the Dr. gave me 21 days....I go back on the 1st....im not lookin foward to go back too lol..he also gave me a profile of doing nothing for the whole month of May.

Well I had my SARPE yesterday! I was in at about 730 and back in the intensive care unit at around 1130 fully awake. Yeah , it boggles my mind as to why they didn't finish the wire on the top teeth...

yeah , I was told about 3 years ....also surgery...im trying to avoid that now...for some reason....im curious if it can be straightend without it

Thats right! Almost 30 years old and decided to get em...I need alot of work done, due to my high arch and the crowding of my teeth. I have this annoying expander in my mouth , it is hard to eat, talk , and swallow my 'spit'...i have to suck and slurp it in. My wife feels real bad...oh well...i cant...
