my gosh. yes yes yes! I just told this to dh 2 nights ago, but couldn't really describe the feeling. I don't have pain any more (I got braced 2 weeks ago) and sometimes I just want to rip 'em off and relax - but not all the time. At least most of the pain has subsided - at around 4 days post braces ...

Late in replying here - glad you went for the wax. I didn't use it at first (I got braced on Tuesday 1/22). I went to work right after my appointment and didn't wax because at the time, all felt fine. I talk all day at work (ha ha both professionally and personally) and by the end of the day..O M G!...
