As noted above, ceramic brackets don't stain, but the little rubber ties (ligs, modules, elastomerics) can and do, unless you choose deep colours. I only had the top one done and I feel like the elephant man. There's not much pain, but the sinus pressu...

Jeesh. Gotta wonder about those nurses sometimes. My OS regularly uses the same facility - multiple procedures every week, and yet still they had my orders as clear liquids only (OS had said I could do anything up to a yoghurt-like consistency right away) and every time they came to record vitals t...

Hi Everyone, Thanks for the comments and advice. I've emailed my OS with some concerns and asked to meet with him to discuss these before my surgery. I just think that it's weird that I haven't had an Xray for 4 months, or had him talk me through what they're going to do. I do have some concerns ab...

Ah HAH! I'm onto you, Rach! I knew you must have some sort of secret you were keeping to explain how miraculously good you looked right after surgery and now how quick you are recovering. Good to know that I am doing the right thing by eating all these chips/crisps pre-surgery, will do my best to c...
