My attachments were removed at my last visit, when I completed my last tray. I was told I only had to wear the retainer at night. I have found that I much prefer wearing my last invisalign tray to the wire retainer I received! My ortho told me I could wear either one.

Maybe I'm using the wrong terminology. It's also called IPR? They used a power tool that spins and put a little bit of space between each of the teeth. They don't lean too bad, but enough that I can see they are not standing straight up.

Well I just switched to 33/33 a couple of days ago. Actually, I have 33 upper and 36 lower, but the ortho told me that the 3 additional aligners are for overcorrection and I may not need them. I am extremely happy with my results and can't wait to get my attachments off at my next appointment on 6/2...

I think it's really gross to brush & spit in the kitchen sink. Especially a semi-public one. In my opinion, and probably the opionion of most of your co-workers, you should do your brushing in the bathroom.

Mine took 6 weeks. However, I think the ortho may have had them a week or so before my appointment.

I would call and ask for sure. They may be sitting in the ortho's office and no one has bothered to call you about them yet.

I've had my impressions and will be getting my Invisaligns on about March 18 - so I haven't started yet and I'm not familiar with some of the terminology.
