I had my wisdom teeth pulled in my early twenties; but I didn't need ANY extractions before the braces no.

I had all of my wisdom teeth extracted in my twenties. they were all impacted and a huge PIA.

I didn't need any additional extractions before braces though.

ya, it's been two months and I STILL have the lisp......there is NO WAY I can talk on the phone whilst wearing my top retainer, I've gotten better, but still REALLY feel it when I am talking. I just take it out until I hang up-lol, even w/family, when we are talking they will say, "r u wearing ...

just checking in to see how everyone's progress is coming along! Life without braces hasn't been TOO much diff because I am wearing my retainers 24/7. Nicest part is that I can take them out for a few hours if need be (like parent teacher conferences the other evening, lol.) I have this crazy phobia...

I didn't find it to hurt at all! I had ceramic and top; and everyone kept telling me how much those hurt coming off but I didn't think it was bad?!

I was just so happy to be having them removed they could've done whatever they wanted
