Teeth whitening

Just got my braces off on 2 days ago. My ortho told me to wait at least a week before trying to use any type of whitener's on my teeth due to the enamel. My teeth can be somewhat sensitive from time to time. My teeth have a slight yellow tint to them. My question is what would be the best/cautious ...

Cut in my mouth

I woke up with a nasty cut in my mouth. Apparently I cut my upper gum on one of my brackets. I have been using wax to keep it off of the bracket and a canker sore medication. But its killing me. Does anyone know if they make some sort of a sealant that adheres to your gums? That would be better than...

Tooth sensitivity

Ok I did a little search and found a lot but not what I was looking for. I am power chained from 3-6 on top and bottom and both sides. For some reason 2 days ago I woke up and just out of no where my right upper canine tooth was extremely sensitive to anything cold. Cottage cheese, yogurt, water or ...

I don't have my wisdom teeth. Been gone for several years. They took out the my 2 upper pre molars and my lower 2 pre molars before treatment. I have been braced now for about 7 months and my back teeth are slowly but surely coming forward starting to close those gaps just a little now that I just g...

Very back molars..............

I have a question about the very back molars that they didn't put brackets on. I am starting to get some separation from them due to everything coming forward. Do they move forward on their own or will they put brackets on them later or what? Just curious how this process works.

When going for your first adjustment.......

What can I expect? Is it common to get a new wire? How are adjustments done? How often would I get a new wire? When I go I will find out what kind of braces I have. Unless I can steal the digital camera from my wife for a few minutes and post pics online for you guys to see. Whatever I have the wire...

Do they make a polishing kit or something to use at home like the dentist has?

Re: floss

Crest does make an awesome product called Glide Flosser Thread. If you like the regular Glide floss, you'd love this product. It has a stiff end, but not spongy middle. I really like it, but it's pricey. OMG you were dead on right. The Crest Glide threader floss is hands down the best in my opinion...

The pics are in my story which is linked in my signature.

If so then the brand is GAC In-Ovation :D They're one of the newer self-ligating bracket systems out.
No unfortunately they don't. I am just going to wait until my first adjustment on May 12th and ask then.

SturdyFloss, Oral B Superfloss

My ortho gave me like 4 bags of this SuperFloss stuff. The cushiony section for the appliances is fine but for some reason the thin floss doesn't go in and out of my teeth well at all. I like having the stiff end to help lead through the wire but the actual floss in my opinion sucks. Does Crest or s...
