Ugh, took me a few days to learn how to put them on without going completely crazy lol. I was told to eat with them, I was like no way! Well, I was right, they snap every single time I eat, so I am cheating by not putting them on when I eat. It's a waste anyway. But other than that, just keep them o...

I will bring it up to my ortho also. I hope it's not doing any damage like knocking them out of alignement or something... It feels so weird not being able to bite down completely though, it feels like I have to do work to keep them from not-biting, and when I forget, it hurts lol. These braces are ...

Why do braces make me bite down so hard?
I have no idea what's going on at all...my braces force me to bite down, or I get tricked into biting down, or something along these lines happens. However, every 2 days or so, I get into a cycle of biting down really hard and somehow it feels right! Like it should be doing that. :? I even have bite...

Wire snapped out of both brackets...swallowed it, scared!
:? :? :? Well, I was eating pizza and all of a sudden I notice that in the very end, the wire had snapped out of both brackets that are attached to the 2 lower molars...and it's not there anymore. There is no where else it could have gone other than down my tummy! It's almost 1 cm, what now?...

Oops, lol...a fight huh! Well, I also have a stupid story, but it did not jack up my treatment. But it does involve parties. So anyway, I have gone to 4 parties this summer, which were overnight, and um...pretty sexual, :? , so um, I decided to take out my aligners because I didn't want them...

Hmmm, well I am now on Tray 15 / 40, nothing bad has happened yet! However, if it does, and I am recommended a revision or whatever, I will tell the ortho to throw away all the aligners and put me in real braces ASAP! I am one of those people who are scared of the end result as well, but I am still ...

I have 40 upper and 34 lower...a moderate case, cost $6500. If you think they're pretty bad, then there's no way you could fix things by just 6 months! Just my opinion...but then again, they might not be as bad as they seem. Or someone (lab or dentist or comp) have screwed up in their calculations. ...

Hmmm, that's a tough call actually... First of all, depends on your time expectations. When it comes to teeth, you knew from the very start that you were gonna need lots of time. Now, being annoyed with it should not make you change your treatment, but if you really MUST speed up the process due to ...
