Hey, I suggest tooth-colored ligs, I have those and they are not really noticeable.

I have tooth colored ligatures because I do a lot of presentations at work. At my next adjustment I will try the grey or silver ligatures.

I was just braced yesterday. My ortho said 4-6 weeks apart. I have traditional metal braces. So my first adjustment is May 9 which will be 4 wks.

I took about 4 weeks for me. I went to two consultations, then choose my ortho. The following week I went for x-rays, photos, and impressions. Two weeks later was conference and spacers. I just got braced myself this morning. The pain has just hit me, I feel like someone has punched me in the face. I am also hungry but can not bite down at all. Will this change soon? I am afraid I will be eating mashed potatoes for a very long time.

I am having the same issues with spacers. My bite has changed significantly. Continue to use the wax, it will get better. Today is my brace day 10am to be exact.

How are the ceramic braces versus the metal braces. I will be getting braces in the next three weeks. I am worried about the staining and breakage with the ceramic braces. Please provide any insight.
