I was in invisalign for 15 months. I had 14 original trays and then 11 refinement trays. I just got my retainers- the wire kind. It has taken a while to get used to them. I got them 2 weeks ago and my teeth are still a bit sore and I still have trouble talking. I'm optimistic that I will get to wear...

I forgot to mention on my last post that I am also a teacher. I started treatment in the middle of the school year, so I told my second graders all about it. They couldn't even really tell when I got them (except that I had to brush my teeth in the room a couple of times). Now that this year has sta...

I had trouble getting used to them also. The dry mouth has completely stopped, but I did drink so much more water the first month or so. I also thought that the lisp would never go away, but now it feels weird to talk with them out. I am on tray 11 out of 14, and I am so glad I stuck with it! I was ...

Thanks Rippersmile! My little girl was born on May 30th (on her due date!). I am now on tray 7, so I'm half way done!!! I really think having invisalign has helped me lose the baby weight faster because I can't snack whenever I want. Good luck, and I hope you are successful soon!

I have been wearing invisalign since March and I'm due on May 30th (next Friday, yay!). My ortho didn't seem concerned at all when I told her I was pregnant at my first consultation. The only problem I have had was laying down on my back in the chair when she did the IPR. Other than that I have not ...

I am actually using invisalign while pregnant! I am on my first trays and I'm 30 weeks pregnant. I was worried about losing weight because I'm supposed to be gaining a pound a week at this point, but I haven't found that it has been a problem yet. My ortho said it wouldn't be a problem, so I wanted ...
