Iv read articles that mention only long term use at the maximum dose/day can upset healing processes. But if your taking that much ibuprofen, I would think you'd have some serious problems that Advil alone couldn't help. As far as I'm concerned no one here should worry about reversing the healing pr...

Re: wired

are you having rigid fixation? plates and screws? then unless something goes wrong, ie- bad bone break, you shouldnt need to be wired. i would talk to him if youre that nervous about it. Not necessarily. I had my surgery on July 2nd, though I only had my lower jaw done, Iam pretty much wired shut. ...

I had a setback last wednesday, I was told he moved my jaw back 9 mm. Im not exactly sure what the procedure was called...though I am wired shut, but its not that bad, the most annoying thing is being constantly hungry. In my OP, my OS made 2 cuts right infront of each ramus and moved the bone back,...

Finally, after some hassle and pushed back dates I got the surgury done. and, hopefully Im not speaking too soon, but im not feeling too badly. When my surgeon told me the surgury would be less painful then having my wisdom teth out I very much doubted him there, but at this point Id agree. its just...
