Some pictures and some questions
Please check out the pictures below. I'm 15 months into an estimated 18-24 month treatment time and I still have concerns about my four front teeth. When I look at my teeth I see that my front two big teeth are not symmetrical. One is larger than the other and they also have different shapes (probab...

How to insert a picture?
Hi everyone, What is the easiest way to post pictures on this site? I have a digital camera but am not sure how exactly to submit a picture. If anyone can clue me in on the best way to do this it would be appreciated. I wanted to post a few pics (I'm 15 months into treatment out of an estimated 18-2...

14 months in and question about progress
I've been braced for almost 14 months now and am due to be debanded in July (hopefully). Today I got my first set of xrays since before I had braces put on. The ortho also changed the positions of 7 of my braces and I was told the moves he made were to correspond with how my roots had moved which he...

Wire popped out
I had an adjustment about 2 weeks ago and I noticed a few days after that when I flossed my wire was loose and my floss inadvertently got passed through to the next tooth. Upon closer inspection I noticed my wire wasn't completely secured in the bracket. It doesn't hurt at all; I'm just wondering if...

Removal of bonding?
I've had bonding (years ago) on some teeth to 1) fill a gap between my two front teeth 2)lengthen some teeth that weren't long enough. Shortly after I got braces, bonding on one tooth (next to my two big teeth) chipped and the ortho filed it down so it would be smooth but the tooth was noticeably sh...

Is it okay for me to 'guide' the ortho???
I'm halfway (hopefully!) through my sentence with braces and recently, when I go into the office, I've been bringing 'problem areas' to the attention of the ortho when he asks if I have any questions. I'm not trying to run the treatment but I do have some concerns that I want to bring up. At the las...
