Those three surgeons are who high risk/difficult patients seem to be referred to with good results. I'm using Arnett, and I'm confident with that choice that maybe I'll be finished with these stupid, horrible surgeries and because I want it done right. These surgeons are used ...

... ortho recommended Kallal. A main reason I'm heading to Gunson is that the top expert in Chicago, Kallal, recommended only the following referrals: Arnett/Gunson, Wolford, and a OS in N Carolina. I pressed him for Chicago names but he didn't have any. It threw me off. Many of the Chicago surgeons ...

... I'm sure there are great surgeons in NE; however, my bite and jaw were so complicated my orthodontist only felt comfortable with Dr.Gunson or Arnett doing my surgery. To be honest I didn't even look at any other surgeons. I wanted to go where my ortho was most confident as I already had so ...

... of it all. Sorry, I might be rambling, but since you have already had such a horrible experience you deserve to have the best...and Dr. G and Dr. Arnett are the best in my eyes. I hope that whomever you choose you feel comfortable with and trust. I know I was referred to them because I was/am ...

... Lefort I and BSSO advancement and rotation). I just went for a consult back in July, check out my post about it entitled "My consult with Dr. Arnett". I would HIGHLY recommend you NOT settle for a genioplasty, but rather go on more consults with some top orthognathic surgeons. Just as ...

... yes, I will be going on more consults (which I stated to chicago29 in my last response). LOL, cvn you were right about getting some flack about Arnett; it now begins. But, I do understand why they are doing it; they don't want me to be mis-informed and possibly throw all of my money away without ...

Yeah my last two surgeries were pretty epic failures and I'm having a lot of trouble with losing condylar bone. Arnett is one of the few who is confident enough to do mine because I need pretty significant bone graphs and some out of the ordinary surgical techniques to give me ...

... (rare), $1400 for each additional day So at a minimum, I will have to pay $64,920.50 and that doesn't include braces or hotel stays (which Arnett's office has discounts for). The good news is, if insurance approves this (likely), I won't have to pay for the hospital stay or anesthesia. ...

... surgery (and by the looks of things you are in the boat where the surgery is medical necessity), but the cost is an issue. While I understand Dr Arnett to be one of the best, do know that there are many other very qualified surgeons out there that are just as good and are much more affordable. ...

... all the same! I should be getting my surgery in spring, before my COBRA runs out and after my (hopefully) interviews for vet school. I'm using Arnett because this is my second redo, and he's one of the few surgeons who doesn't look at me and run screaming the other direction. Cost is insane, ...
