Re: Jaw Surgery For Cosmetic Reasons?

Your best bet is to have an orthodontic consult and ask your orthodontist for a referral to the surgeons he/she usually works with. Arnett and Gunson are good, but they are hardly the only qualified surgeons in California.

Anyone know any good surgeon in Connecticut?

I have a overbite and my jaw is misaligned. I heard Dr Arnett and Gunson from Santa Barbara California are the best surgeons for jaw surgery but the problem is I live in Connecticut. Does anyone know of any good jaw surgery surgeons in Connecticut? Thank you!

... with it, so "she may grow out of it" was EXACTLY what he wanted to hear. One Sunday there was an article in Parade Magazine about Dr. Arnett's practice. I clipped and saved it. There was a little conversation about it, but my father vetoed any serious discussion. Even though he could ...

... attitude of surgeons is "we'll operate because you have bite issues, but given we are operating we will fix the cosmetic stuff too". But Arnett/Gunson's office staff should be able to tell you. You clearly have a gummy smile. On that specific part surgery isn't necessarily the only option. ...
