I think it is good news.....

#1 Post by Victoria »

Hi!

I was at my 5 th adj. today. I still have one tooth that is being really difficult and is still not attached to the archwire, but they put in a spingcoil today to make room for it. But the ortho said that next time she wanted to set a date for putting on the lower ceramics. In the beginning of the treatmentplan I was told they would do this towards the end of the treatment, and my sentence is about 30 months. But my next adj. is in September, and that means that my lowers will go on after I had my upper linguals for about a year.... I think this is good news.... But sceptical as I am, I am thinking it is that they want more time with me in lower ceramics... I don`t know, but at least it is moving forward.... :D

I just thought I would share this with you, and hear what you guys think.... :D

Hi,

I don't know the answer to your question, but just wondering how your speech is? I am thinking of getting linguals, but worried about sounding ridiculous.........

Hey Victoria.. Ive got that spring thing too because i have a tooth that's not attached to the wire, so now they are making room for it.... and it's been 8 months or so.. blahhhh
My next adjustment, in August, it will finally be joined in on the fun..heheh....

Your news definately sounds promising..and a step in the right direction!

Don't worry about it. I only have upper linguals and my speech is fine.

Hi!

Chupche: My speech is not really a problem anymore, sometimes after a adj. I notice that I sound a little bit funny for maybe a couple of hours. But other than that I dont think I sound any different. I told some friends of mine about my braces and said that maybe they had noticed my speech, but none of them had, and instead were really interested in the treatment;)

BlahBlah: Thank you for your response, it might seem like we are at the same stage of our treatment? How long is your treatment plan? Do you have lowers on?

Anyway the spring has made some room, but as long as it is enough room by September, I am happy - so my last tooth can join in aswell;)

Take care;)
