Uppers going on January 19th

I have been seeing my ortho once in a while for about 6 months, talking with him and making sure I am 100% comfortable with him, and decided to go for it! He's great. I paid for them and had my molds taken on the 4th and he said I should be able to come in January 19th to have them "installed". I'm only getting uppers and they will be STb brackets and they will not be put on my back molars. Treatment time will be 12-15 months. I can't wait!

I'm leaving for Las Vegas February 7th and I guess this is just motivation not to overeat too badly while I am there

Good luck! The top is easier to put on than the lower. I have had both top and bottom since 12/3 and I have already noticed a difference and I haven't had my first adjustment yet! Have fun in Vegas! Mary

They braces only took a week to make instead of 2-3 like he first thought. They are at his office, waiting for me! I can go in whenever I want to have them put on. But now I'm freaking out!! Hopefully he has office hours on MLK day, that would definitely be the easiest day....not to mention parking will be easier (he's in NYC) on an "off" day as well! Thanks for the reassurance
