Day 3

#1 Post by Katrina »

I got my top linguals on Wed, and everything has been fine so far, no speech problems or pain, but I am having a hard time eating hard food. I even went for a cleaning to my regular dentist today and thought that after that my teeth would be sore from the cleaning but they are fine. How long does it usually take for eating to go back to normal and should I force myself to start eating harder food? I'm kind of scared so I think thats why I'm sticking to soft food.

Hi Katrina, Congrats so far, can you post a photo? Well I'm 10 days in now and eating is back to normal. It does feel stange but I guess we all just adapt. Keep us posted. Oh, I'm with you to have a "positve Campaign" towards lingual braces.

Linguals

#3 Post by teach »

Hi Katrina, I got my top linguals on two weeks ago, and Im eating pizza, chicken wings. I havent tried a steak yet. I'm not suppose to eat hard chips, but I just break them down into smaller peces. I just have to eat slowly and carefully on the harder foods. You have to be careful so not to break the wires and brackets. I already have had that happen so far.

Good luck and keep us posted.
