just got linguals 2 hours ago!!

So excited - upper linguals, FINALLY! after many years of dreaming about them.
Feels a little strange, and they had to put some cement on my two lower canines so that I don't bite my brackets? or something....

Haven't eaten anything yet. Was invited out to drinks/dinner with girlfriends - I want to go, but not sure if they will notice - my speech is a little off. Maybe I should wait...

Looking forward to the next 12 months and beautiful teeth

Go out! Nobody will notice, eat everything you can so you adjust, it'll feel weird at first but they won't break or snap so chomp away!

thanks for the encouragement!

i went out with my fam instead. felt that was easier for the first time eating.
i decided to go all in - forget just soft foods.
i ate pizza, (sliced it with fork and knife, and no crust), lasagne, scallops, bacon (sliced in small pieces) - and chocolate mousse

and a martini

my dentist just called to check on me!! so nice.

i'm glad i didn't just eat soup for two weeks - glad i jumped all in. makes it all less scary. still feels weird to eat.

one thing that's amazing - you can't see the wire even though there's a space between my front teeth. almost totally invisible

you put your ticker in Profile, then it shows up in your signature!

bless your heart for responding - clearly i am technically challenged and still haven't figured it out - but i'm wanting to post it on my first day! (today).

after i design the ticker, it says, "Done! Your ticker:
Incorrect Ticker URL."

so i tried pasting both the bbCode and HTML code to my profile, and it won't take it for some reason.

these linguals are messing with my brain
