hi, ok so will try not to think about it for a while. maybe i am expecting too much but i thought after 4 days i would notice even the slightest improvement or at least someone around me would...
today at work is really hard, when the phone rings i just sort of stare it hoping it will go away......

being a school teacher would be hard but you are lucky they are ok about it, that’s really mature of them actually..
So 2 weeks… do you think I am expecting too much to feel a bit better after only 4 days???
Oh yeah I am drinking about 1.5ltrs a day, I could maybe try to drink more..

Extraction

#32 Post by goldbraces09 »

Just had a tooth extracted yesterday so there is room made to straighten my upper teeth. The pain was worse than what the brace has been - I was in agony with it. Still abit sore today. Beginning to question why the hell am I going through with this. I must be mad.

Is your mouth beginning to settle down yet? You seem to be going through hell with your mouth. I know its not a nice experience but I still hope all this pain will be worth it at the end.

hey Goldbrace... thats no good about having heaps of pain, i didnt really have much pain from my extractions, i was under though so i guess that numbed the whole area for enough time so pain went away...
at least its over with now!!!!!
how are your braces going now?? can you speek properly yet or is there still trouble??

as far as mine go i am kinda getting used to the feel of them, but i still sound awful...... i have found people cant tell as much over the phone which is a good thing i guess. the last couple of mornings i have noticed i sound pretty good, so i am hoping that will adventually last the rest of the day......
Oh and i have stopped crying over it too.................. finally... i think once they start to straighten up and i feel better because of that then i will look back on this week and wonder why i made such a fuss!!

wish i could talke properly though!!!!!!!! its crazy not being able to speek, its something i never really thought about before as being a big deal.

Hi Sonja
Mouth is much better today. I don't really bother about my brace now, don't feel any pressure at all on my teeth either. With regards to speech - that has improved a lot not lisping as much as I used to, although when I do presentations for my job it is much more difficult and my mouth gets very dry and I feel it is quite an effort but things are improving. :D
