Hey guys, Ive done a search and haven't come up with anything comparing top to bottom linguals.
I just got my top linguals put in a few days ago, and things are going well. I am set to get my bottom linguals in 7-8 weeks.

For those of you who got the top and bottom ones at seperate times, can you tell me which ones were harder to adjust to? I am mostly concerned about lisping, since that to me is harder to overcome than the pain.
Hopelly things will go just as smoothly once I get the bottom ones in....But I'm assuming I can't do the happy dance yet. :D

For me the bottoms were easier to adjust to... but i don't know if that's because i got them on 2 months after the uppers and i've been through it all already.. the pain, eating, lisping..etc
But i definately had more trouble when my uppers went on...
I think it's whatever goes on first... if you get your bottoms on first you may find the bottoms more difficult and vice versa... i dunno *shrugs...

I have top lingual, and botton ceramic braces.
I haven´t had any problemas wth neither of them. But if I had to choose, I prefer linguals than ceramic braces. I have ibraces, and they are smaller, and their surface is smoother than de ceramics.

I had a much harder time with the tops than the bottoms if that helps. Good luck!!! :O)

I had both put on at the same time. The top bothers me more. It pokes my tongue more and causes the speech problems. The bottoms I barely notice.

definitely the tops were worse for speaking purposes. the btms ripped up my tongue a lot more but they never affected my speech. i've had the tops now for about a month and a half and i still have a little trouble w/my "s". the less you think about it though the easier it gets
