hey madison
so as you can see, i'm not 'theprettyone' (never thought i'd say that btw) but i live in manhattan and have the most wonderful ortho in the whole world and need to share him with you! he is one of the first developers of lingual braces and currently uses the iBraces method. i have only had them on for like a month and already see an improvement. while his receptionist is a bit much (think your jewish mother in law/grandma... even if you're not jewish... you know what i mean) he has been so patient the entire time. and i HATE mouth related doctors. i swear prior to this i hadn't gone to a dentist in 4 years. (no cavities BTW. woohoo). annnnd if you don't happen to live in manhattan or nearby you can go to his office on long island. HE IS AWESOME!

I use Dr. Ted Rothstein. I live in Nassau and he's in Brooklyn Heights but SO worth it. He's honest (sometimes brutally!), hysterical, and his chairside is awesome. You've gotta have a sense of humor going in there because he definitely does, he's not some uptight, condescending, better than you, fancy pants Dr. He doesn't sugarcoat things, but also doesn't scare you, he's very understanding to peoples fears of braces. He makes you feel like he'll be right along side you the whole way if you need any help. He will come early or stay late to accommodate his patients needs. I look forward to all of my appointments and will definitely miss him and his staff when my treatment is over. I think his "out there" personality and sarcasm may turn off some, but we get along very well!! He's also been around forever and was one of the first dentists involved with Linguals.

Not too mention my it's been 4 months and my teeth are looking AMAZING already!

Thank you bot for the reply! I actually live in Riverdale and work on 42nd and 6th, so I think Dr.Diamond would be easier for me to get to. Is he reasonably priced? I'd probably get linguals on the top and clear braces on the bottom.

Thanks!
