Hi, I have had the Ibraces on for about a month now and I have had four teeth removed and they all seem to be moving in nicely.

Yesterday everything was fine till I went to sleep and when I woke up the bracket on my last molar on my top teeth is off.

I was wondering if this was going to delay my treatment and wondering if this has happened to anyone im really angry and confused right now/

This is not uncommon, don't be angry about it.

Call your ortho and see if they can schedule an appointment to reattach the bracket. It's not going to delay your treatment.

If it is completely missing they will have to order a new custom bracket from the iBraces people, which will take a little while to make before they can re-attach it.

I actually broke one of my back brackets, which they need to reorder from ibraces.

I asked the same question to my ortho about the delay in treatment and he said no (but granted, I didn't have any teeth removed).

besides having a broken bracket, I also had a bracket pop off from the back. My ortho didn't charge me for putting it back on...

They didn't mention anything about charging me for replacing the broken bracket either.

Nature takes its course ;)
Regard it as having been passed by management.

I've had heaps of brackets fall off mainly during the start of treatment. I have ibraces also and i swallowed one as it came loose as i was eating and because it was the very back one it slipped right off the wire. My ortho just ordered a new one. It took about 4-6 weeks from america to australia. Luckily it was on one of my back molars which meant that it didn't interfere with my treatment. It does not cost you anything it is all part of your treatment as you have paid a set price for them, all your adjustments reattachments are included in that price. The extra things you pay for are post braces costs that are not included in your 'treatment'
