Heelloo!

Don't be afraid of the pain, it will go away quickly. For the first two/three i couldn't chew at all, but after that i gradually started a soft diet.

Of course, i lost weight, but not that much at all. When you only have liquids for two/three days, you can see results! lol You'll gain it back -if you want !- when you'll start chewing again!

Here's a few soft food recommandations, as you asked!
  • Omelet
    Salmon
    Small pastas with sauce
    Tuna & avocado with lime
Soups & creams (it's Fall; reach for pumpkins, carrots... yummy!)
Tacos filling (Meat & salsa) or Chili
    Smoothies
Risotto (Rice meal with seasoning as you like)
Wishing you the best of luck!

Hi there!
It's my second day in braces. For me it's easy to put everything I have in the fridge in a blender. For example one avocado, 2 tomatoes, a little bit of onion, lemon, (everything raw), baked sweet potato, olive oil . You can try various vegetables. You can put the mix in a jar and take it with you at the office. I'm doing the same with fruits, adding a little bit of lemon, some drops, it will help keep the freshness.
Thanks god the blender exists!
:)
