One day before braces- Recommendations on which flosser

#1 Post by teach »

Hi everyone,

I'm 1 day away from getting my linguals on and really confused on what type of flossing to use, so I thought maybe someone could help. There is Opalpixfloss. Also there is Palypus floss. Lastely there is floss threader. Any recommendation to make this process little easier would be greatly appreciated

Hi Teach,

I use TePe brushes - you can get different sizes to use between your teeth or the braces and they are very easy to use. My orthodontist, hygienist and dentist have all said that they are the best things to use. They must be working - I go to the hygienist every 3 months and she never has to do too much, so I would defnitely recommend them.

Thanks LB for the input. I never heard of those. Where do you get them?

Not sure where you're based, but I'm in the UK and they are easy to find in most pharmacies. My orthodontist and dentist also stock them. Otherwise, might be worth doing a search on the Internet to see if there are any stockists in your area or if you can buy them online.
