Finally taking the leap into braces after not having them when I was younger. I'm 23 and was quoted around $6800 for upper linguals and regular metal lowers with NO extractions( 2 thumbs up ). I have a narrow arch on both the upper and lower, moderate crowding in the upper and lower, and a fairly large overbite and he said we'll try it without extractions because linguals actually do better at widening the arch than traditional metal braces. Anyone ever heard that? I was surprised when he told me that. Treatment time is 18-24 mos. I'm in the Orlando, FL area and from what I've heard/read, it is a really good deal. I was quoted $6100 for regular metal brackets for upper and lower at a different ortho who didn't do linguals ( I was sent there by my dentist ). That ortho told me he wanted 4 extractions and about 3 years of treatment. No thank you!
So anyone else in the Central Florida area?
