GETTING MY KIT TOGETHER-HELP.

Hi Everyone,

3 weeks and 2 days before i get braced. Upper linguals, lower ceramics.

Would people be kind enough to reccommended the best floss, toothbrushes, wax, mouthwash, pain killers :oops: ....etc??

I'm the owner/admin of this site. Had ceramic uppers, metal lowers ~3 years in my early 40's. Now in Hawley retainers at night!

I'm a month in - upper and lower linguals. It's pretty awful at first, I really didn't like it, but it DOES get better. At the start, I took every painkiller I could find as often as possible and they were very useful - get the cheapest generic version in boots.

Wax is all the same as far as I can tell.

I'm using oral-b orthodontic toothbrush, seems fine. I don't think you're meant to use an electric one unless it's a particular type but I can't remember which. Flossing is pretty hard, but those little interdental brushes are good.

You said its awful....of course im scared!! Its good to hear that things are improving for you.

I'm so curious to know what product "cannot mention" is!!!!!
