Just curious, I am 57, have crowded bottom teeth, slight issues on a couple of top teeth, considering lingual braces but worried about speech issues. If you have a good ortho, I am not sure I could live with that issue as I talk nonstop all day at work.

I am a 50 year old and have had braces for three months. they are primarily to cure some crowding and rotation, but I am also hopeful of helping ameliorate my open bite. So far so good. Really glad I did it. Some changes can already be seen.
I find now that everyone I meet gets a teeth inspection before anything else!

I had hoped for ligunal braces myself, but was told they would not work for me. Glad now as I think they would have been very difficult. I got ceramics on top , metal on the bottom. I work in the construction game and nobody batted an eyelid. the hardest part was deciding to just go for it, the rest has been relatively easy.
