Getting started with braces

Hi guys,
I am brand new to this forum, & am very glad it came across. Today is THE DAY when my whole journey begins. Getting spacers put in & doing some initial paperwork today in a few hours here, braces ll go on on Monday (same day we ll find out the sex of the baby, yay for that!)...Ugh I am so nervous to say the least! I am also 4 months pregnant with a toddler lol I already know next year is going to be quite challenging & gonna test my limits. Baby s due in January, the plan is to remove my wisdom teeth some time in Jan-Feb right after baby s born so that I have enough time to heal prior to surgery (orthognathic surgery to improve the misalignment of my jaw & hopefully reduce or completely get rid of the pain TMJ). The ortho estimated approximately 12 months before & 12 months after surgery. I was procrastinating getting started with this whole thing...But figured the sooner I start the sooner I finish, right? Well, plz wish me luck & I hope to find support here on this forum with my upcoming journey! Thanks!
