Unsure

#1 Post by Hibiscus190 »

So I’ve had ongoing Dilemma about the whole extractions or no extractions

I’ve had extractions and one of the biggest changes I’ve noticed is as the gaps closed my upper lip now covers half of my upper teeth when I smile, when before the gaps closed my lips never covered my top teeth in fact you could visibly see them. When I used to smile before the edge of my top lip sat right at the top of my top teeth (hope that makes sense)I brought this to my orthodontist attention and they said that the way my teeth and lips are now is their correct position. But you can barely see my teeth when I smile now. Is this NORMAL?

I had 4 extractions

I’m not sure I was never told why I need the extractions, apart from being told that I need the space
