Cracked lips?

#1 Post by LP »

I'm a Chap Stick addict and always have dry lips, but they've never cracked before. Now they keep cracking and even bled a bit.

Is it something to do with the braces or just a weird coincidence?

LP,
are you rinsing more often? When I rinse with salt or antiseptic solution a lot, I notice my lips crack.

Didn't even think of that. But I don't rinse that often. Maybe once every two days. I did it a lot when the inside of my cheeks/lips hurt, but not much anymore.

Wow - brush my lips? I would have never thought of that, but it makes sense. I'll give it a try!

And yes, I'm a lip licker...always have been.
