Rectangle wires? I just got one on my lowers and I had no idea what it was when he was putting it on.

Also what are stoppers?

rectangle wires are wires that if you cut them crosswise, and looked at the end you would see that they are shaped like a square rather than a circle. I always got confused when I was first braced. People talked about rectangular wires and I would think - no mine are still shaped like the arch of my teeth!

square wires may make you feel a bit more sore because they are actually engaging your brackets a bit better. Think round peg in square hole vs square hole in square hole. Hope this helps!
