How long was your treatment?

It was initially forecast to be 18 months (9 months pre-surgery, 9 months after). 25 1/2 months after getting my braces I had my upper and lower jaw surgery plus genioplasty, and was told that I should be out of my braces in Jan or Feb next year (6 months post-surgery) which will make my treatment about 31 months.

Do you have to extract teeth?
I had 2 upper teeth extracted.

How old are you? 41

What kind of brace?
Ceramic uppers, metal lowers

Here's my deal,
1) Sentenced to 18-20mos, Starting Sept 1st 2006
2) Only Wisdom teeth yanked 10 years ago.
3) Male 50ish
4) SpiritMB clears on top-Damon2's on Bottom
5) First ajustment Sept 20 2006

Estimate: 12-14 months, now at 22 months - coming off soon
No extractions
51 at time of bracing
Damon 3's top and bottom, switched bottoms to Smart Clips due to excessive tartar build up in Damon doors.

estimated time - tops - 1 yr - bottoms - 2 yrs
1 already extracted - two to go - and i want another one out but am not allowed

I am suppose to be braced 2yrs.,
I am 39yrs old
no extractions
metal braces on top, metal on bottom (though i don't have them yet...the bottom will be in 2 wks)

A very young 40yrs!

What kind of brace?
Ceramic uppers to be fitted in approx 5 mths

I was told it would take 18 months, no extractions, I'm 32, and I have ceramics, upper and lower.

how Old are you?? ------------------ 1,000 +
what kind of brace??---------------- full metal jacket (metal braces)

Oh was it worth it... I can't tell you how much it was worth it!
