THEY'RE OFF!!!!!!! *PICS*
They are off and I am SOOO happy!!! I absolutely love it!!!
I went to the ortho at 10am. I think this is "debanding day" because everyone there was getting their braces off. So I went back and this woman took off my wires, bands, and metal brackets. Didnt hurt at all! Was a little uncomfortable but nothing major happened. She asked me if I wanted to keep them, and after seeing them covered in drool, I decided against it! Then I went to the main room and sat down in my chair. The ortho assistant came over and grinded/scraped all the glue off (I HATED this! It was so uncomfortable! But I lived through it lol!) Then the ortho came and took off my ceramic brackets. I was so nervous, but THEY came off easier than the metal ones!! I was so shocked! I didnt feel a THING! Then he ground off the glue under those. I got my impression done for my hawley upper retainer (I chose turquoise colored with turquoise sparkles!) and then he came back and polished my teeth. He shaped the top front four a little bit, and then I was done! I go back on monday to pick up my retainer. I even got a goody bag filled with candy and popcorn!! Here are the pics!! I dont have the official ones yet, I'll probably get those on Monday along with the before pics.
