Thanks everyone for the compliments!

Cawfee, my teeth were not straight when it all began. Maybe the first picture was a few months (not one) into braces - My top 4 teet where all uneven and crooked, but there was so much spacing between them, they must have straightened out quickly since there was no force from the other teeth.
Oh, I meant that the new (after braces removed) picture looks so natural. As if they had been straight the whole time!

I did not have them whitened. I was not expecting that they would look so white. Before braces, they were very white and I thought they would look stained afterwards, but I was really surprised. I did have some staining around the gum-line areas and between a few teeth but a few good brushings and I used one of those tartar scrapers and things came right off.

They were very yucky after he took them off. There was a ton of hardened glue. I looked at them after he scraped off the gunk but before he used a gel (or something like that) and poli-is-h-e-d them. I did see some gunk on them and I still feel some, but I am going to mention it when I see him for my retainer on Monday

Hehehe, look at you mugging in the last pic. Congratulations! Your teeth look fantastic. You should be very pleased with the final outcome.

I got my braces off this week as well, just Monday. Best feeling ever not having that hardware any more. Do you know what retainers you're getting?

I'd have thought you were just one of those lucky people who have straight teeth if I hadn't known you ever had braces! Btw, how long were you braced to get these results!?!

Braced on 13 September 2006 - Ceramic upper and lower brackets - Estimated time was 12 Months

Kieth your teeth look wonderful! I'm getting braces in a week and if my smile turns out half as well i'll be happy.

Maybe you should look into teeth modeling??? lol!
