Hello,

I am thinking of moving from NZ to Sydney Australia, but need to change orthos, has anyone done this before? And if so, is the extra charge worth it?

Hmm I haven't done it myself, but just wanted to say I hope whatever you do works out well :D. Do you know of any orthos in Sydney through friends etc? Maybe we can see if there are any Archwired folk who have excellent orthos there? Anyone... ?? ;)

Changing docs midstream can go either way...smoothly or not.

It kinda depends on the office policies of the new doc....ortho hardware is pretty standard: "straight wire" brackets of either .022" or .018 slot size (which determines archwire sequences)

We live in an area of relatively high turn over due to the military, so we try to make the transition as smooth as possible for folks transferring in...no extra charges, work with the previous financial plan, use the existing appliances, etc.
