my mouth is smaller and smaller...

#1 Post by poloaa »

Does anyone have the same problem i have? I have been in braces for 7 months, now my mouth is hardly opening wide everytime i got my adjustment. Even the assistance told me my mouth is so small, lol, sounds crazy, but it is real, i can't open wide to do my flossing on my last molar and wisdom teeth, very hard to do it everytime. Do u know why it happens like that?

hey poloaa

i have noticed that i dont open my mouth as wide anymore.. i used to be able to open my mouth really wide that they didnt have problems fitting stuff in my mouth but now i am finding that they are having to keep ask me to open wider which is really uncomfortable for me to do but i have to. Good luck with treatment!

I would ask your ortho about this just in case - I really have no idea what it could be, but I would hate to see you have TMJ problems in the future just because you didn't ask.
