My "golden" ligs / chains for the holidays.....

Image

Image

I wanted so badly to get red & green for the holidays, but my ortho insisted on a chain on my uppers, and I just couldn't bring myself to have either all red or all green on the top. The assistant even tried a few different greens on the top, and I couldn't stand it. So we went with the gold, and I really like it a lot. It's subtle, which is probably the best thing about it!

Hey Chrisd -- I noticed you went from ceramic on top to metal. I'm wondering why. I have regretted my ceramic decision almost from the start. I am probably going to go for a change to metal on the bottom at least.

I've lost a bracket (on one of my rotated incisors that is not currently wired in) and I will ask for a metal replacement -- and perhaps have the other 5 changed out as well. Or maybe I'll keep just the front 2 ceramic, if that isn't too weird.

My lovely January color choice. I think this is my favorite so far and it's not even purple or pink!

dig those alternating blues princessmelody. i think ill go with a blue next time.

check out my story for more details on my switch ellabee. i cant see why having two central ceramics would be a problem. i could see a problem with a metal between two ceramics though as the metal brackets are not as deep. good luck :D

I have only had my braces for a week but my clear ligs went yellow really fast and I just had them changed today to "smoke". I know I was really curious how they would look on ceramic brackets so I included a close up below. They look pretty grey in the package, but once they are on they look clear. Hopefully there is just enough color to them to keep the staining at bay.

I figured since I get lavender and aqua a lot, I'd finally just use them together. Pleasant results, if I do say so myself! 8)
