wires bent

wires bent

I had kfc yesterday and when i came back i realised the bit of wire covering one of my gaps had bent a lot.It's been causing me loads of pain i can't eat on that side anymore

Call your ortho. I had the same thing happen at the beginning of my journey. The wire is really thin at the start. The wire porbably isn't actually bent but may have pulled out of the molar band some. Try to push it back in if you can otherwise just call the ortho they can slid it back in for you. Apparently, it happens with thinner wires and extraction gaps. Once you get to a thicker wire it shouldn't happen again.

This happened to me last week. I called the ortho and made an appointment to go in the next day and they sorted it out really quickly. The pain was gone in about an hour.
There's no need to suffer! Ring your ortho tomorrow if it's still hurting.
