Gummy smile?

#1 Post by Sweetie »

I have gummy smile which makes me unhappy. The ortho told me that maybe with braces it will be less visible like 1 mm or 2mm. Of course that is no the main reason I am having braces, but if that help my self esteem I’ll be happier. A lot of people that have gummy smile are not even bother for that fact. I wish I could be like them.

I was wondering if anyone here had gummy smile and braces helped to make less visible

I'm a tad gummy, but I don't think braces will make much of a difference to that. I'm not fussed by it.

I have a gummy smile too and it really bothers me!

The ortho and the surgeon said it shouldn't be that bad after I get my braces off and my jaw surgery done, though.
